2022 IFLA award winning projects by Lingnan Design Group

-Background and Major Impact-

We currently face many problems, including global warming, rising sea-levels, more frequent extreme weather, invasive species, coastal erosion, shrinking coastlines, inland salinization, and the reduction of ecological diversity. These are the direct result of either ignoring or trying to engineer our way around natural systems for rapid urbanized development. How to deal with climate and ocean water risks, while protecting the stability of coastal ecosystems, has become an important challenge for estuarine marine cities.
